CATHODE RAY TUBE TV

KODAK BROWNIE 8mm

Nowadays faded film and light leaks are considered hip. But they were annoying side effects when cameras like this beauty were in use. Also you had to shoot on actual film - 8mm film that is.

SONY WALKMAN

My sisters introduced me to this one. The original was based on Cassettes. Then came the Discman(TM) and afterward another Walkman which only played MP3s. The last one I lost on a night out in the best Rock-Bar there is: Tick-Tack.

DYNAMIC MIC

Style has changed on Microphones. But two things have not: Technology and your urge to say 'Mic-One-Two' when checking functionality. Oh, and skill doesn't increase if your Microphone is cooler than any other. Just saying.

CASSETTE DECK

Even I am too young to know any of these. I guess the play button gives you some kind of sound. Hitting stop - stops the playback. And don't get me started on forward and reverse - it took ages.

ANALOGUE INSTRUMENTS

Our time and age is digital. These were analogue. People still fancy the 'warm' sound of anything prior to the eighties. Who am I to argue because mostly I feel the same.
